I love how it worked out that Zof was scheduled to show for this comic anyways.

FINALLY Grapple's really not interested in beating an opponent that stands no chance.

Well, Sorry again for the delay. I'd love to I'd managed to make a buffer but... Alas I have not. Just know I'm still trucking along and the next one will come.

Delay reasons: First up, To be honest, I really have no clue how this fight show have gone. It doesn't help that my only real knowledge of grappling comes from backdrop Kirby. Add to the fact throws require poses far different from the normal ones (Back views, crazy side views, can't just change a few parts of a the sprite, nearly have to resprite the whole THing)

Next biggest reason: Animal crossing: City Folk is an ass. Seriously. WHo's bright idea was it to make it THAT dependant on real time. Night/day hour, even week events, fine thats okay. But when taking a day off results in so much backwards progress.. UGH. >.< Compound that with the fact it takes 2 bloody hours for a town maintanance sweep, AND the game punishes you when IT errors. Then throw in the fact the store upgraded itself to the point it gets crappy hours.
Now if I wasn't a partial completionist, put so many hours into it, and the game was excellent otherwise, I'd probably just stop playing. But I want to see what the game has to offer. SO it stupidly eats up my time for very little progress.

Then there is Terraria. Which is AWESOME. And eats up my time by being a hybrid of Minecraft, Legend of Zelda, Dwarf Fortress and Castlevania. Can't complain about that though. I'm building a fortress with it.

I still have enough time to make comics if I decide to not play and give minimal maintaince to Animal Crossing, so I should be able to make a comic inbetween making comics for the WST.

If you need grappling ideas, look no further than Wrestling. You could use the Olympic style, or the flashier Pro-Wrestling style. Specifically Kurt Angle, great grappler himself.

And I take it he burned down the place because they're moving, or simply showed up at the right time.

I was actually thinking more along Olympic rather than Pro actually.

Anyways... I guess it wasn't that clear, but Zof didn't intentionally wreck the place. That was a side effect of the fighting. Fire's due to ruptured and accidently cut gas lines.

WHoa.. Quickman took three panels to skid and he didn't even stopped O.o

Also apparently Zof doesn't care how burnt the house is, there's a job to do.

If you really need to look for something for grapple moves, try taking a look at Kirby's Suplex power.

HOLY CATSAFLOYGIN, it updated. yay.

First off, I like the whole Grapple man being a douche to Tornado man. Makes it easier to hate him. I'm also curious as to how that fight is going to end.....Grapple Man claw through the chest of Tornado Man. I think that would be a good way to end that fight, though, ya know, Tornado might die, but, he's a bot with a built in teleportation device when he sustains a fatal amount of damage right? So, He may live, I hope.

Now, on to the flameing business, I actually expected it to either be in ruins, or to be on fire, seeing as those guys weren't letting up on Zof. And seeing Zof show off some kick a moves of his own. I really did expect it to either be destroyed or on fire. Maybe because of an errant shot from one of the thugs blew a decent hole in many of the buildings supports, or gas leak from all those ovens that had been falling out of that wall of them and well, gunfire+Gas=Boom. I'm glad to see that he's alive and still doing business. Though, I'm wondering, is he even going to try and get revenge on those people that had tried to attack him. I mean, after he's done working and what not. Though, seeing Quick Man there, I think he might go after them instead of Zof. I don't know, it might happen.

Thank you for updating this awesome comic of yours. I will continue to wait and enjoy the epicness that is the pages you give us, that you do in your spare time.

...You know, looking back on it I have to say that the after image effects for Quick Man are excellently made. How do you make them?

@cador:(Possibly increasing) Layer transparency and recoloring. Really as simple as that.
